Hello! I'm Kendra...

…and I have a passion for kids content!

I am currently the Director of the Children's Film Festival Seattle, which is the largest kid-friendly film festival on the West Coast. I also serve as the Manager of Development for the Children’s Media Association, a nonprofit association of media professionals who are committed to creating and distributing thoughtful, entertaining media to children and young adults.

As a filmmaker, I enjoy creating whimsical films including my short film A Dreamer’s Melody which screened at over 20 children’s film festivals around the world and my upcoming short film untouchable.

I am also the Editor for the Seattle children's television program Look, Listen, and Learn which has received four Telly Awards and two Emmy nominations. In 2020, an episode of the television program Washington Grown that I Produced and Edited won a Northwest Regional Emmy. And sometimes I even work in front of the camera, like when I played the character of Lucy in the television series Live+Local!

When I’m not making films, I’m dancing in Jazzercise, drinking tea, and sewing!
