Hello! I'm Kendra.

I currently live in the beautiful state of Washington and am a graduate of the film program at Eastern Washington University, where I was awarded the Best Director and Best Feature-Length Screenplay Awards. I was a top ten finalist for the women's division of the 2013 DGA Student Awards. My ultimate passion is film, but I also share a love for graphic design.

Over the past few years, I have worked hard to make my mark on the Pacific Northwest's film scene. Many of my short films have screened and received honors at festivals such as: The National Film Festival for Talented Youth, Spokane International Film Festival, Seattle Shorts Film Festival, Local Sightings Film Festival and the Inland Northwest's 50 Hour Slam.

In addition to making films, I am highly involved in the development and growth of my local film community. I have been extensively involved with the Spokane International Film Festival (SpIFF), where I currently serve as Assistant Director. For two years I taught as an adjunct instructor for an Intro to Film Production class at Spokane Falls Community College, a class for which I wrote the curriculum for. For the past three years, I served as a board member for the Spokane Film Project, a collaborative group of Spokane's most passionate filmmakers. Along with my fellow board members, I worked to expand and encourage creativity and development of, not only the film community, but the entire arts and culture of my city.

As for graphic design, I have been designing for nearly a decade.  My primary work has been for the companies optimalCX Solutions, LLC and I have designed everything from event posters to children's books illustrations. I work freelance and will work closely with you to achieve a fresh artistic vision for your business, event or personal design needs. Let's collaborate!
